The Way to a Better Life

What you want from life seems to be different from what you get. The reason is that you are thinking the wrong way. Now do not get all-tense that I used the word wrong, do not take this as a personal attack, think of this as a learning experience.

What most of us were taught at a young age is that we have to work hard to get what we want. This has stuck with us throughout the years, and has come to mean that unless we work hard first we will not get what we want from life. A sad addition to that is often we work against what we do not want, rather than towards what we do want.

Because we are usually wanting either less of something or more of something, we are always keeping in mind what we do not want. Then regardless of how hard we work, we always end up with what we did not want. For example if we want less stress then we are keeping stress in the picture and will continue to receive it. Alternatively, if we want more money, we continue to keep the lack of money in the picture and so continue to experience the lack of money.

What do you want?

To get what you want you need to know what it is that you do want. Now here you must not be general, you must be specific. As explained before, wanting less or more results in keeping what you do not want. You must be specific; if you want less stress, you must actually want peace and solace. If you want more money then you must actually want a stated amount. If you are making $30,000 and a year and want more, then $30,001 is more, do you see where this is leading?

Be specific as to what you want, describe exactly what you do want. Avoid the less than or more than what you do have. As a point in fact do not concern yourself at all with what you have that you may or may not want more or less of. Ask yourself pointedly: What do you want? Do want a shorter commute? If so, you either need a new job that is closer to where you live, or a new home closer to your work. Decide what you want, otherwise you will get something you do not really want, like laid off so there is no commute.

You will get what you ask for.

Now here is a warning; you will get what you ask for, the less specific and detailed the more room for the universe to answer your request, and the more room for loose interpretation. As in the example above the request for a shorter commute was granted, but not with desirable effect. So learn now to focus on what you do want and stay clear of what you do not want.

You can have, be, and do whatever you will to.

The Secret of Happiness and Success

To have success is also to have happiness. While success means different things to each of us, without success we are not happy. Being successful is a two-part process; first, there is determination and second there is belief. The secret is that both of these begin in the mind.

You cannot be happy if you allow others to decide your fate, to allow life to just rather push you along life a leaf in a river. This will create resentment, lost opportunity, conflict, and more importantly; unhappiness in your life.

We all must choose our own life; you are responsible for your life, your success, and your happiness. Nobody can do it for you, for example if I eat a pizza, will you feel full? If I take a shower, will you smell better? Of course not, but I hope that helps you to understand that you are who is in charge of your life.

The conscious decision

We all make choices every day, what to eat, what to wear, and so on. The big decision we must make is what to do. We decide what to do, and it is this choice that we must be aware of, if we are to achieve our success and happiness.

We must be prepared mentally, spiritually, and physically to make the choices that affect our lives. To do any less is to surrender to being just another face in the crowd, to being an anonymous member of society. We must determine what it is that means success to us, what does success mean to you is the thought that must be present in your mind at all times.

Choosing the direction

If you go to a bus station and ask for a ticket, the teller will request a destination. If you do not tell the teller a destination, you will not get a ticket to ride. Just as in your life: If you do not know where you are going, you will never get anywhere.

You decide what you want to do, and where you want to go. Without a clear idea of what you want to be means that you get what is left over from other peoples efforts, if anything at all. There is no such thing as something for nothing, everything has a cost. To not choose costs you any chance of success, to not know what you want costs you your happiness.

Making the choice

Decide first what it is that you desire, what do you desire to do or be? You can take this first, and most important, step towards success and happiness. Without this destination, there can be no journey.

Then determine that it shall be, that it will happen, that you will make it happen, that it will be yours. Feel the burning desire to see it through to completion, and you will start taking the steps needed to make your desire a reality in your life.

Then have faith in yourself. When you first start an endeavor you have to have a little faith, you are learning new things, doing new things, and you will get better as time goes on, but at first, it will seem difficult, and that is why you need to have faith to get you through the start up.

Soon after you begin, you will notice that your skills are getting better, that your ability to do things becomes easy and second nature. This is where faith turns into belief. Now you know you can, you can prove it, you can have it, and you can do it.

Then you will have success, you will have happiness, and above all: you will have your own life.

Be Blessed

Weight Loss Is Work

The ideal way to produce weight loss is through a balance of good nutrition and exercise. While this one sentence says it all, it would be an extremely short article if I did not elaborate a bit. What we are saying here is that you will have to expend some effort to accomplish your goal.

Realize the truth of weight loss; it takes effort and dedication to you to truly lose the weight and keep it off. You will have to change the way you live your life. If you are not ready to accept this fact then you will not succeed with any weight loss program you try.

Bad Diets

There are so many diet plans out there that it would take a whole book to list them all. Most of them are quite restrictive and boring. You will start with great enthusiasm as skilled copywriters usually hype the plan up. Then as you proceed, you will find that your enthusiasm wanes, and you cannot sustain such a program, as it does not offer any reward except the far distant hope of losing a few pounds.

These weight loss programs are usually only focused on eating a certain food over and over, replacing everything else you eat. Sometimes they are pills designed to remove water from your system, and sometimes they are nothing more than a way to take your money without any real permanent success. There is no such thing as something for nothing; you cannot achieve permanent weight loss with no effort.

Real weight loss

To lose weight and keep it off will require a smart, well-informed approach. You will need to find out before you start a program if it will be able to followed for a long time, usually measured in years not days. You will need to know if you can accept the changes that a particular plan suggests.

One of the big things that most weight loss plans neglect is the activity part. You will need to get some exercise. There is no way around it; if you do not increase your activity level, you will not lose weight. Now here is where you must make a careful choice as once you start you will have to do this for many years to come to achieve permanent results.

You must combine a nutritious balance diet with activity to experience real weight loss. This is the winning formula; any other plan that suggests otherwise will not work out in the end. You may get a temporary quick result, but you will gain it all back, and you will run the risk of developing health problems beyond what you may already be experiencing.

What you really don’t want to hear

The activity part of the equation is also known as exercise. For some reason people cringe at hearing that word, and pale with the prospect that they will have to do some. Get over it, anything worth having requires some effort, if you want to have a healthier you, you will need some exercise.

Exercise can be as simple as taking a daily walk to as complicated as a full gym workout, to as strenuous as participating in a sporting event. Only you can determine what the right level is for you. Also take into consideration your tolerance of other people, if you get along well with others you may very well like a gym workout, if you are competitive you may enjoy sports, and if you are a bit shy and need to spend some time with yourself you may go for the long walks.

You can do it

You are the one who got out of shape and overweight, and you are the one who will get fit and trim. You simply must desire to be healthy, and then find a weight loss plan that will both work for you and can be sustained for the rest of your life. You must change what you are doing now to become a better you, to hope to someday end the plan is to hope to fail. Fit and trim is a lifestyle, just as being overweight is a lifestyle. Which one do you want the most?

Finding a Weight Loss Plan that Works for You

Are you looking to lose weight? One of the best ways to experience weight loss is with a plan. Just deciding that you want weight loss is not enough, you must find a plan that not only will match your personality, but will help you too. You need a plan that involves three elements: Your mind, your body, and your spirit. For you are all these, and just focusing on one will not bring you the results you desire.

Finding a weight loss program

Looking for a weight loss program involves finding something that addresses more than just a food diet. For example, if you eat nothing but toast, you will lose weight, then when you have lost a few pounds, you will want your regular food, and then when you go back to eating the way you used to you will gain all your weight back. You need a plan that will still allow you to eat real food and not starve.

You will also need something that will also help you determine why you eat, is it for energy, to replace your lack of sleep, or as an emotional replacement. These issues also need to be addressed, so that you can enjoy weight loss success. As you can see, you will need to find a plan that addresses all these things together so that you can enjoy your life.

Joining a weight loss program

As you look around you will find that you have a number of different options. There are do it yourself programs, on line programs, and local programs that you go to at least a few times a week. You need to determine what fits you the best. Do you have strong willpower? If so you can use one of the do it yourself courses. Do you have a need for some direction and to have goals set for you? Then an online program would probably work very well for you. Do you need support from others when you are feeling unsure and hungry? Then a local weight loss plan would be best for you to join.

Once you have made your choice, make a commitment. Determine to yourself that you will stick with the plan for at least six months. Then if it is not working to your satisfaction then you can switch plans. You cannot fail unless you quit, so once you start stay with the weight loss goal you set for your own self. Everyone is different; some need only a book to change their life, while at the other end of the spectrum other people need a clinic. Only you can decide what is right for you.

Staying the course

Starting a weight loss program is a lifetime commitment. You will be changing the way you do things, the way you use food, and the way you live your life. Be aware of this aspect and you will have a far better chance of succeeding with your goals. As with all things, it gets easier with practice. Then after a while, it will seem just an easy routine to you, it will be a part of your life. This is what leads to permanent weight loss, as well as a happier and healthier life.

Weight Loss from Getting out of The Chair

It seems that we as a race have developed habits that are naturally causing us to grow fat. We need weight loss because we live our lives like penned animals; we put ourselves in a cage, and keep ourselves there. We have bodies designed for doing things yet today in these modern times we have built a lifestyle where we are simply do not move much. Sure, we are moving from the bed to the breakfast table; from the table to the office chair; from the office to the restaurant booth; from the restaurant to the couch, then the dinner table, and then back to the bed. No wonder we need to learn about weight loss.

Today, our daily obligations keep us tied to chairs, with the resultant lack expending any real physical effort, and thus we gain weight. There are health experts that insist that obesity problems are caused at least as much by lack of physical activity as by eating too much. This means that if we want exercise, then we have to seek it out.

It is important that people move around.

Now this does not mean that walking a lap around the house will offset a daily dose of donuts. Exercise alone is not enough, if you just exercise and do not watch your diet; you may be able to prevent weight gain but will not experience the weight loss you desire.

Weight loss is not something that you are likely to sustain unless exercise is part of an overall program. The more regularly you exercise, (please note that the word regularly was used) the easier it is to maintain your weight. Therefore, you must make some sort of physical activity a normal part of your day, just as sitting in a chair is part of your day.

Getting yourself moving

As with any exercise program, always check with your doctor. One of the safest and most effective physical activities is walking. A brisk walk will help you experience weight loss without the high impact exercises. Start out by walking around the block or around the track at the park.

Make it something you do every day. If you eat that day, you take a walk that day. Now if it is raining go for the walk anyway, if you can safely take a shower you can safely walk in the rain. Make walking a habit, you should walk at least 20 minutes for every meal you eat, this will at least help you from gaining weight, if not help you get the weight loss you are working towards.

Some other ideas to help you to walk more; are park your car further away from the entrance to a store, it is easier to find a spot and it does you good to walk a bit. Take the stairs for at least one floor, the line for the elevator is far shorter and you will feel better for the effort. After dinner, make a part of the routine to walk off your dinner, it will aid you in digestion as well as weight loss.

The Right Way to Lose Weight

Why is it that people who want to lose weight, or get into shape or both always seem to fail? The answer is not complicated, it is because you secretly like the way you live your current life. Now the solution would be to secretly fool yourself into liking what you want to become and not what you currently are.

Before you start a diet or workout plan, you need to convince yourself that the new way of life is better than the old way of life. To do that you simply need to tell yourself that you do. Have you heard of mind control? Most likely you have, what you want is to control your own mind. Simple; the answer is yes. Easy, surprisingly the answer is also a big yes.

Now you may be wondering how to lose weight by mind control. Let me ask you first; have you been successful losing and keeping off the weight by willpower? Most likely not, otherwise you would not be reading this article. Sure, you have tried diets, eating right, and even some workouts and exercise plans, and ended up right back where you were before you started. This is because your desire to lose weight is not based on the proper mental attitude.

So how do you cultivate the proper mental attitude? Through autosuggestion, a skill you develop to control the mental world that in turn controls the physical world. First, you must write down your new attitude; such as “you like to eat healthy food” use the word “you” instead of the word “I” when talking to yourself as it will sink in much faster. Now repeat that statement to yourself as soon as you wake up, and again every time you think about it, at least 5 times a day.

Then after a week of this, set a start date for when you will start on the eating right regime, this will set your mental world to accept that your physical world is about to change, and will change it to what you have been telling yourself for the last week. Keep repeating your statement every day until your start date. Then on your start date; start.

While you are autosuggesting yourself, do some research, find out what eating right means. Find out what eating right entails; get some details and some information on what healthy eating is and how to do it. Then when your start date comes, you are ready to start and know how to start. Then every time you do not feel like eating right, you can remind yourself by reading your autosuggestion statement.

You will find that when you do this you can change your whole self permanently. You will not fail, you will change and change for the better, you will lose weight, you will eat right, and you will do whatever it is that you have set your mind to.

How to Realize Your Dreams

Dreams come true through action, and the best action is to set and achieve goals. Realizing your goals is important; as you realize your goals you will find relief from many of the problems that seem to plague you. But first you must set a goal, then plans and actions will follow. With the following of plans and actions come achievement, success, and accomplishment.

Self Realization is an understanding of your direction in life. If you understand your direction, you will see what you must do to achieve your goals. When you reach a goal, you get a realization, this act of achievement makes you feel fulfilled and complete. Even if only for a few hours, but it still feels good.

Goals are an essential part of life. If a person does not have goals, they often feel a lack of purpose. Wondering what the purpose of life is. The real meaning of life is growth. When something is growing it is alive. For us humans we stop physically growing around the age of 21, so after that milestone we can only continue to grow mentally, spiritually, and psychologically. To keep growing we must have a purpose, whether we invent one or discover one. Having a purpose in life provides principals, ideas, motivation, reason, and a reason to live. If you have purpose, you feel competent, and assured of your self. This takes you to your goals since you are focused on your objectives in life.

The most important way to realize your goals is to setup short-term goals that work toward long-term goals. For instance, a short-term goal is to walk around the block without stopping, then to run around the block without stopping, then increase the distance every time a goal is reached until the ultimate goal of running a marathon is accomplished. If you start by trying to run the marathon you will fail, but by starting with smaller goals you will succeed. Therefore, you can understand that it is important to set small goals you can reach and all the small goals add up to achieve the ultimate goal. Giving up will only, cause you stress, if the goal seems unreachable break it down into smaller goals. If you set goals out of your reach, it is likely you will never reach the end of the race. Setting goals out of your reach will also frustrate you, and as you continue to fail you will loose self-esteem, self-control, and confidence.

Realization of your self is the ability to recognize your own potentials and abilities. The realization of self will bring you fulfillment. When a person feels fulfilled they often have a life with more success and achievement. The overall point is to set small goals so that you can eventually achieve your ultimate goal.

As for the long-term goals, this is what will determine your life. When one is reached, enjoy the feeling, and then set another. You must keep growing to keep living. As you now realize, it takes effort to reach goals, it takes work and perseverance to achieve success. However, it is you, and only you, that must take the action to make it happen.

How to Get a Job Fast - 3 Easily Overlooked Sources of Fast

How to Get a Job Fast - 3 Easily Overlooked Sources of Fast
Jobs

- by Tony Mase

© Tony Mase - All Rights Reserved
http://www.constructivescience.com
===========================================================

If you're looking to get a job fast, whether it's because
you have to or want to, in today's "high-tech" society with
its "high-tech" mentality, it's real easy to overlook some
tried-and-true "low-tech" sources of fast jobs...

Here are three of the best:

Fast Job Source #1 - People You Know

I've heard that as many as 80% of all jobs are obtained
through other people, not advertising. Based on the people I
know who have jobs, I'd have to say that number is fairly
accurate, if not a tad on the low side. That being the case,
if you're looking to get a job fast, your single, number one
best job source is the people you know.

Therefore, the most efficient and effective thing you can do
to get a job fast is to call everyone you know and I do mean
*everyone* - friends, relatives, neighbors, acquaintances,
people you know from clubs and organizations, former co-
workers, and yes, even former employers (assuming you left
them on good terms) - to let them know you're seeking
employment, ask them if they know of anyone hiring, and, if
they don't, if they'd be willing to ask around for you
(don't forget to follow-up with them if they say yes).

Fast Job Source #2 - Newspapers

Believe it or not, there are many small business owners, the
largest creators of jobs there are, who can barely turn on a
computer, let alone post a job listing online. Thus, they
still rely on good old-fashioned newspapers to advertise job
openings.

The employment or "help wanted" section of the good old
Sunday newspaper is still one of the best sources of job
openings there is, but don't ignore the daily, weekly,
monthly, and even the "shopper" type papers as they're often
equally as good, sometimes even better, sources.

Fast Job Source #3 - Signs

Just the other day, I was talking with a gal who told me, "I
can't find a job anywhere, no one's hiring." "Do you ever go
to __________?" I asked her. "Yea, I go there every
morning," she said. "What about __________?" I asked. "I'm
in there once or twice a week," she replied.

"Well," I told her, "both of them have great big signs on
their doors that read *Now Hiring*."

Her somewhat sheepish reply?

"Oh, I didn't see them."

Why didn't she see them, you ask?

Simple...

She wasn't looking for them. :-)

My advice?

Don't let that be you!

Many small businesses, again the largest creators of jobs
there are, never go beyond word-of-mouth, newspaper ads,
and/or "help wanted" signs to get all the help they need.
Therefore, you'd be foolish to overlook these sources of
fast jobs.

Beware of the Closed Mind

Success in its broadest meaning is not limited to just the attainment of monetary and material possessions; it is also being abundant in countless other ways in your life and nature. The universe craves to continuously manifest and express itself, and is always expanding, this power likewise expresses its self by demonstrating success, to develop, to grow and become bigger and stronger.

Many realize this longing; they recognize this inclination for growth has been repressed in them, because of negative thinking, unconstructive programming, and not having enough faith in their abilities and themselves. Every individual has dual natures: One wants the self to move forward while the other feels like pulling back, or staying the same. Both natures tries to hold and to be in control, thus the one nature that one concentrates and cultivates determines what one is at the end.

It is your “will” that resolves the issue; an individual by one utmost attempt of the “will” can change their whole vocation and accomplish miracles. Which is why having an open mind is very significant.

A person who has a closed mind accepts a concept without much concern for evidence. They might have even reached their concept without any supporting evidence. As a result, when one is presented with evidence that is contradicting to their concept, they immediately dismiss it without any consideration.

Whereas a person who has an open mind before reaching any conclusion, will consider first the many evidences approving or disapproving the many interpretations of the concept. They do not just gather information, their concern encourages them to weigh what they have learned and work towards reaching a decision or conclusion based on facts and evidences.

An open mind allows one to magnetize opportunities, to insist and continue following opportunities, regardless of how small they appear. An open mind is open to all opportunities and possibilities, big or small.

A closed mind however, is stubborn, demanding things without any delay and wanting it as exactly as the mind perceived it to be, and is not willing to accept or try something else, when that original want can not be accomplished or reached.

When a person closes their mind and becomes stubborn, this in essence tells his higher self, including the powers of the universe that one is not eager to mature and encounter new things, so then there will be no progress and no transformation and one’s life will never have a chance to improve.

Whatever the mind can envision, the mind can create. What the mind sees believes feels and thinks are all conveyed to the subconscious mind that then works with the universal and establishes your reality bringing it into your conscious mind.

Bear in mind though, that it is not sufficient to merely imagine and hope it materializes. Having the power to imagine means also having the power and the capability to work on it to achieve it. You can achieve anything when you open up your mind to success and get rid of limiting thoughts.

As to how limited your life may be and what the circumstances you have at the moment does not really matter, because when you decide to change your attitudes and thoughts, and begin to think without limitations, your life’s direction will begin to change. Focus on possibilities, rather than limitations and expand your thoughts to what it is that you believe yourself to be.

Continuously display images of your goal, of which you desire to become, and things that you want to accomplish. Read magazines and books containing stories and pictures of lives similar to that that you wish to emulate. Constantly read materials packed with examples and ideas of women and men who had set goals, overcome hardships, conquered misfortunes and accomplished what they aimed for in the end.

Always affirm to yourself. In each undertaking, take the time to focus, and set a clear mental image of the outcome. Then repeatedly say and claim that you have already achieved it. Nourish your mind with positive thoughts; repeat your affirmations before sleeping, after waking up, at lunch break, anytime. Do not give negative thoughts a chance to enter into your mind. When a negative thought pops up, dismiss it and think of your dream instead.

Thoughts hold great power. Be conscious of the thoughts that come into your mind; let the positive in, dismiss the negative. Open up your mind to new possibilities and never be afraid to try.

Be Blessed

The Power of Focus

A person must resolve to be the master of their body, when you do so you soon acquire the power to arouse the body to activity, and alertness, during your entire day, you must also develop the habit of keen observation and be conscious of what is occurring around you, instead of being carelessly unconscious of the major portion of what is happening in your vicinity.

This skill of paying attention to the things that may engage the mind, and of using your will to arouse and control them, is of very great importance. It is not what we call paying attention; rather it is called situational awareness. Being conscious of where and when you are that makes the connection between the ego and the objective world. This giving attention is a process of consciousness, and the person who fails in this matter misses the purpose of life and throws away valuable time and opportunity.

To maintain situational awareness is to be alive and awake and in a condition to make the most of this limited physical life. Yet we find that many people cannot give sustained attention to an ordinary conversation nor direct their mind with sufficient precision to state a simple fact without wandering aimlessly about in the effort, bringing in various incidental matters until the original subject, instead of being made clear, it is obscured in a maze of unimportant details or lost sight of altogether.

These poor habits of the mind should resolutely be put aside, the attention should be fixed deliberately upon the subject at hand, whatever it may be, and nothing should be permitted to break the connection between that and the mind. Whether it is a conversation or a book, or a manual task, or a problem being silently worked out intellectually, it should have undivided attention until the task is completed or the time has expired.

Few of us ever give any subject the close attention which alone can prove its own effectiveness and demonstrate the fact that there goes with such steadily sustained attention a subtle power of extended, or accentuated, consciousness. The time spent in wavering attention is practically without effect. The connection between mind and subject has not been completed: Mind and subject were out of focus.

Attention must be sustained to the point where it becomes concentration. The mind must be used like you use a magnifying glass: Hold the glass between sun and paper, out of focus, for an hour and nothing will happen. Conversely if you bring it into perfect focus, concentrating the rays to the finest possible point, the paper turns brown and finally bursts into the fire that will consume it. They are the same rays that were previously ineffective: Concentration produced results.

The mind must be brought under such control of your will that it can be manipulated like a search-light, turning back and forth until it fixes full upon some obscure subject and held there until it illuminates every detail of it, as the search light sends a dazzling ray through the darkness of the night, so must you use your mind to define and clear up all that you can see.

Focus and Control Your Thoughts

It is in the measure that you exercise self control that you will gain the knowledge of your thought forces and in doing so gain control over your life. When you gain control over your mental forces, you will be able to master your outer life instead of being a slave to it.

We all know that person who turns everything they touch into dust; you know that person who no matter what can pull defeat from the jaws of victory. The person who can not retain success even when it is handed to them; they are the ones who live their lives as the example of what not to do. That person has no self government, they are not honest with their inner self and so have no control of the inner and it reflects to the outer. They are slaves to circumstances and only gain their strength and knowledge through bitter experience.

Whatever your position in life may be right now, you can not improve your circumstances, you can not even hope to experience success, until you have learned to control and focus your thoughts. When you are able to focus your thoughts you will find that problems that were insurmountable an hour ago are simply challenges that will need a little work to overcome.

As in all things you will have to practice your talent to gain skill. Nobody on this planet has ever won a triathlon on their first try, so it is with this skill of thought control. You must discover how to calm your mind, control fleeting thoughts, earn the concentration ability to think and solve one thought at a time.

Start with learning to sit quietly without distraction. Continue by making your self calm and collected, as one with your self. There is no difficulty no matter how dire it may seem, that can not be overcome using calm concentrated thought. Learn how to be calm and ignore the raging storm of emotional thoughts swirling about you. Silence the doubt, resist panic, forgive hatred, and shine the light of knowledge on the shadow of ignorance.

Every thought you think is like a wave of energy sent from you to do your will. Whether you desired it or not, your thoughts will attract and create what you have thought about. This thought energy will react with the universe upon you for good or evil depending on your thoughts and the intensity that you use. It is of the utmost importance that you learn how to control your soul, to master your own emotions and thoughts.

If you are to weave into your life prosperity, happiness and joy, you must first find and remove all your inner problems. Remove from your thoughts capricious actions, irrelevant hates, petty likes and dislikes, fits of anger, jealousy, rapidly changing moods, suspicion and envy. You must rise above and control these disturbing and debilitating thought patterns.

You must find a reason for you to want to take control of your life, discover for your self why you should exist. Set a goal for your self, and set a time limit. While moving towards that goal, be mindful. Whenever you think a thought that is counter productive dismiss it immediately, and stay focused on the goal.

Thinking Positive with the Law of Attraction

You have probably heard of the new fad going around called “The Law of Attraction” and all the things that knowing this can bring to you. This is good that this knowledge is getting out to the world, but there are a few key pieces missing.

For example when you are driving on the highway, the speed limit is clearly posted every few miles. Yet to drive the highway there are a few other things you must know before you ever hit an on ramp. So it is with the newly advertized Law of Attraction, there are a few other things you must know.

Positive thinking is but one aspect of Law of Attraction, just thinking positive will not bring you glory and riches. You do have to earn what you have. You have more than likely heard of lottery winners who win millions of dollars, but end up just as broke and further in debt than before they won. Do you know why that is? It is because their inner self is not developed enough to handle the situation. Yes that seems harsh, but it is the reason.

Your outer world is a reflection of what you are inside. If you were to say that you will help other people when you get rich, chances are you won’t. If you do not help people now, nothing will change should you become wealthy. Many times the universe (god) answers and grants wealth to people to see if indeed they will help other people as there is something that person must do that will change the whole world. What happens in most cases is that the person forgets their promise to help others and gets wrapped up in themselves and all the new toys. So the universe will cause the wealth to be transferred to someone else that will do the work to help others.

So many people complain that they do not become wealthy; the problem is not with the universe, the world, or the neighborhood. The problem is inside you; what ever you are now will only amplify with wealth. If you are a lazy person you will only become lazier with wealth. Conversely if you are an energetic and empathetic person you will become a greater person with your wealth. So do not blame the circumstances around you for your lack, look inside and see the truth. Once you know what the problem is you can correct it and lead a happier life.

There are certain unwavering laws that govern the operation of this world we live in. Some we can control and use to our advantage, like electricity and sound waves. Others are firm and fixed, like gravity and friction. Understanding these laws and working with them will help you to temporarily overcome their effects; for example the invention of the airplane and the wheel will overcome gravity and friction respectively, but are still subject to those two laws and will eventually have to submit to them. I.E the airplane will land and the wheel will stop turning.

The Law of Attraction will always keep working, it will cause what you are to become reality; your reality. Every thing has to be in its own context to be appreciated. A beautiful rose bush in a field of corn is nothing but a weed. You will have to create your own world one step at a time, one idea at a time. You must run the race fairly to even finish; to try to take a short cut will only set you back, and cause you to lose even what you have now.

So do not think that the whole think positive Law of Attraction will instantly turn your life from hell to heaven overnight, it won’t. It will work for you if you use it; however you have to use it wisely. It takes at least 18 years to turn an embryo into an adult human; during that time that human became a person. If that person is unsatisfied with their life it will take effort, time, and conscious thought to create the life that is desired. It may well take far less time than becoming an adult did, but it still takes time.

You can only have what you are worthy of. You can not buy a piano and expect to perform at the master level in Carnegie Hall the next day. You will have to learn and practice until one day you are ready, then you will be worthy of the applause you will receive as well as the satisfaction. If you use the Law of Attraction correctly the teachers, music, and opportunity will present themselves to you with minimal effort, but you must accept what is given and use it as the time is correct.

Remember this; be careful of what you wish for, as you will get it.

Be Blessed

The Skills of Being Happy

Happiness is a mindset, a choice, something that you choose to be. You must first decide that you want to be happy and then with a few of these tips you can become and stay happy.

Let us start from the place you might be; full of bad feelings. Release your feelings; express your feelings of affection, friendship and passion to the people around you. This will allow you to begin moving towards happiness. The people in your life will most likely reciprocate your actions. Try not to keep pent up anger of frustrations, this is bad for your health. Instead find ways of expressing them in a way that will not cause more injury or hurt to anyone.

The trick is to forgive. Forgive them, say out loud “I forgive you” (they don’t have to hear you, just you) and release the anger and resentment. Holding a grudge is like drinking poison and hoping the other person dies. Anger is your emotion, you feel it, it is bad for your health, so let it go. You do not have to forget, you can remember that person did you wrong, but you do not have to suffer your anger. You do not have to trust that person any more, but do not feel your anger any more. Forgive them and you will be happier.

Working at something brings tremendous personal satisfaction. It gives you the feeling of being competent and of value. When you feel you are worth something you are happier than worrying about getting stuff done. Accomplishments are necessary for all of us; they give us a sense of worth.

Learning is a joyful exercise. When you are learning you are living. Try and learn something new everyday. Learning also makes us expand and broaden our horizons, and could also give us more opportunities in the future. When you stop learning you stop living, so keep learning.

Move, do some non work related exercise. Run, jog, walk, swim, bike, and do other things that your body was made for. Feel alive; physical health is good for your happiness, be healthy and you will find it easier to be happy.

Laugh and laugh heartily; Laughter is the best medicine, so feel free to laugh. Laugh everyday, people like to be around happy people, so being happy will bring more friends into your life. Life is not so serious that you can not laugh at the situation, or yourself, so feel free to laugh as much as makes you feel good.

Start to work on a place called ‘self’. Love your self; loving means accepting, to love your self means to accept that you are not a perfect being. You are an individual, a conscious being that that makes choices that in turn makes things happen. Making things happen sometimes results in mistakes, forgive yourself and move on. Keep this in mind; you have not failed until you quit.

When we discover a small start somewhere from within, that small start will eventually lead to something else, then to something else, and to something else. Life is about finding out about right and wrong, trying and failing, winning and losing. These are things that happen as often as you inhale and exhale. Failure, in a person’s life has become as abundant and necessary as air. But this should not hinder us from becoming happy.

Every time you exert effort to improve the quality of life and your being, whether it is cleaning up your room, helping a friend, taking care of your sick child, or relative, rescue an animal to be your pet, and so on. Doing these things causes life to give you points for that accomplishment.

Imagine life is a game and has a big score board. Every time you take a step forward, you make scoring points. Think how it would feel to look at that board at the end of each day and think to your self “Whew! I got a point today. Instead of looking at it all blank and murmur “Geez, I didn’t even score today. I wish I had had the guts to try” and then walk away. When you do a “good” deed you score a point, when you do a “bad” deed the other team scores. A failure does not result in a point for either team, so do not be afraid to try.

These basic skills can be fine tuned further to match your surroundings and circumstances. Using them will make you better, help to make the results you desire, and this will result in happiness.

Released at Last; Why Average People Remain Average

Do you know who the second best football player is? How about the second fastest runner in the world? Would you by chance know the second best secretary or librarian? Do you know who the second best at anything is? How about third or fourth best at anything? In fact; there's no such place as the second best anything. You are either the best or you are not.

If you only do what you're expected to do; then don't expect an outstanding result. Study successful people and you'll sure to discover one thing that many of them have in common; they live by the words of "always do more than what is expected."

Others have called this more than expected attitude as 'going for the extra mile'. Notice that they don't say the extra 10 miles. So why, do you think, are average people not champions? Because the average person just doesn’t bother to do more than what is expected of them; yes it's sad but that's the truth.

To most people, "always do more than what is expected of you" are mere words; and they don't put substance to it because people are lazy and they just want to do the bare minimum to get by. Just enough to make money, to finish the shift, to keep from getting fired, or whatever.

No matter what you do, always do or give more than what people expect. Then they will flock around you, they will line up to meet you and be happy to support you in whatever thing that you want to do next.

If you're training to be a champion; don't just do the minimum and train like an average player. Train more than you're expected to train, play better than you are expected to play.
Whenever you are interacting with people or in a relationship, treat the other party extremely well. Whatever is expected of you in that relationship, be it with your girlfriend, boyfriend, business partner or client, your spouse or your friend, always do or give more than what is expected of you; for that is the secret of making it a success.

It is not that you have to do or give a whole lot more; you have to do just a little bit more than the rest. That's it; for you to become outstanding in any undertaking. To do this, it's not that difficult; but most people are just too darn lazy to put in the effort.

Always keep reminding yourself this; winner's takes all. There is only one in the winners circle. The winner gets the prize and the glory, the others just go home. Wouldn’t you rather strive with the extra effort to be the best? Being the best is the goal; because the pay off is many times greater.

Did you know that saying “You reap what you sow” is backwards? It misses the point that you have to sow first; then reap. It should be written; “What you sow, you reap.”

If you want to gather riches you have to be as generous as you can. Touch people's lives profoundly, in ways that they would never forget. So the next time you are with somebody, or in a business negotiation, or just interacting with another person, ask how can I help you; without expecting any return.

To be generous and to treat others extremely well, you must come from the perspective of abundance thinking. Then always doing more than what is expected of you will come easy and naturally.

Always do more than what is expected of you. Do this without demanding a reward; and it will come back to you many fold when you are least expecting it.

Do you think you can do more than what you're doing today? Of course you can. The question is; do you want to be the best? You will have to decide for yourself; for your own future.

Be the best you that you can be, you only get one shot at this lifetime, so live it well.

Be Blessed.

How to Discover Your Inner Power

There is something very important you need to know: That you can create your life to be what you want it to be.

You know that YOU are the creator of all that occurs in all of your life experience, right? Believe it or not; you ARE the one that creates your physical life experience through your thoughts. Literally, every thought that you think gives birth to a creation. EVERY thought you have has creative power.

The thoughts that you think, regarding those things that you want, set into motion the creation, and eventual fulfillment of that which you want. And likewise, the thoughts that you think, regarding those things that you do not want, set into motion the creation, and eventual fulfillment of that which you do NOT want.

To some of you this may be old news. Blah, blah, blah, the Law of Attraction, blah, blah, blah. So how do you use this discovery to improve your life?

There is a simple three step formula that you use to control the Law of Attraction and to manifest your desires into reality. Let me explain a couple of the concepts before moving on.

There is a technique called “Creative Visualization” and it is the technique of using your imagination to create what you want in your life. There is nothing at all new, or unusual about creative visualization. You are already using it every day, every minute in fact. It is your natural power of imagination, the basic creative energy of the universe which you use constantly, whether you are aware of it or not.

The next concept to become aware of is the way you regard your life. Your life is not your master, it is your child. You groom your life to be the way you desire. You teach yourself, you train yourself, and you make you who you are by growing into yourself. Every moment of your life is infinitely creative and the universe is endlessly bountiful. Just use controlled effort to put forth a clear enough request and everything your heart desires must come to you.

Lastly I must explain to you that what you think is what you get. Be brutally honest with yourself and watch your thoughts. Spend time thinking of what you want rather than what you don't want. Be very careful of this, because if you envision something quite casually, even though you may not be sure you want it, it will manifest. You will get what you ask for; it may not be what you want.

So to get on with the lesson let us grab a piece of paper and pen. Sit down in a comfortable spot and write down your desire. You can have anything you want; you can be anything you desire; so write it down. Imagine if you will a genie just popped out of the bottle and told you that it will give you one wish today: What would that be? Write it down. This is step one; know what you want.

Now that you have firmed up your desire, get comfortable in your chair and daydream about your desire that you just wrote down. Add as much detail as you can, add color, temperature, and any other detail you see fit to add. This; the world of images, is the source of power in your physical world. Imagining what you want is like creating a model before you build the real thing. The images direct the energy in your body. Beliefs generate thoughts; and thoughts generate emotions, which in turn creates your inner experience that becomes your outer reality. If any area of your life is not working, one of your beliefs in that area simply needs to be enhanced. This is step two; see what you desire.

You are the creator of everything in your life. Nothing has happened or happens to you that you have not called to you. Life is really very simple. What we give out, we get back. You create creation with the thoughts that you think.
The inner desire of the wise and conscious soul is to externalize, to create a tangible manifestation of what it internally holds to be true and thereby experience that belief. It is through that experience that the transformation occurs. This is why it is so important to develop self-awareness to the depths of your ability so that no creation can come about in your life without your having made the choice.

Now you must take some time for introspection. Realize that you have created your reality: You have designed your life yourself. Look for yourself; everything is familiar, you have seen it or felt it before. You have created nothing in your outer reality that is a stranger to you. You need to accept reality for what it is: Reality. Once you have that conception, you can change it; sometimes quite rapidly and sometimes a bit slower.

There is comfort to be had by looking at your "outer circumstances" and realize that this is a perfect reflection of what you truly believe as a soul. With each breath, with each pulsation of energy, you send out this essence of yourself, which mingles with other essences and creates and re-creates your physical environment.

Feel yourself centered within and sending out waves of your energy. See it radiation outward from your physical being and into the environment, where it becomes an extension of yourself. Realize that the objects you perceive as "out there" are the materializations of your thoughts, formed by your energy into the symbols of the inner you, the essence of which you are, and thus your very soul. Emotions help you create reality. When you believe in something, love, desire, and want it, you can create it more quickly. If there is anything you want to become aware of, focus upon it. Whatever you turn your attention to, you will create. That was step three; believe.

So there you have the formula for having a happy life the way you want it.
Step one; know your desire. Step two; see what you desire. Step three; believe.

Self Improvement is the Skill of Changing

Let us start off today with a little science lesson: The frog principle.

Try placing Frog A in a pot of hot water: What happens? He jumps out. Why? Because he is not able to tolerate sudden change in his environment, in this case the water’s temperature. Then try Frog B; place him in a pot of lukewarm water, then turn the stove on. Wait until the water reaches the boiling point. Frog B will stay is the water until it begins to boil, and then it will try to jump out. (If it is not too late) Why? Because it did not notice it’s environment making a gradual change.

People are like Frog B in general. We learn our lessons and take action only when we experience pain.

Normally we go through life blind to what is going on. We do not take the time or effort to realize what is going on in our surroundings, and with our life. We pay no attention to the warning signs because we think it is not our problem. We finally see the warning signs and signals when things get rough.

When do we realize that we need to change diets? When we wake up one day and realize that none of our clothes fit us any more. When do we stop eating candies and brush our teeth? When our teeth have cavities, and are rotting in our mouth. When do we pray and ask for help? When we realize that we’re going die tomorrow.

The only time most of us ever learn about unlocking our power is when the whole world is crashing and falling apart. We feel this way because we think it is not easy to change. The problem is that change becomes more painful when we ignore it.

Change will happen, like it or not. At one point or another, we are all going to experience different turning points in our life; and we are all going to eventually unlock our power not because the world says so, not because our friends are nagging us, but because we realize it’s for our own good.

Happy people don’t just accept change, they embrace it. Now, you don’t have to feel a tremendous heat before realizing the need for self-improvement. Unlocking your power means unlocking yourself from the cage of thought that “it’s just the way I am”. It is such a poor excuse for people who fear and resist change.

Most of us program our minds like computers.
An example here; there is a lady that repeatedly tells everyone that she doesn’t have the guts to be around groups of people. She heard her mom, her dad, her sister, and her teacher, tell the same things about her to other people. Over the years, that is what she believes. She believes it is her story. And what happens? Every time a great crowd would troop over their house, in school, and in the community; she tends to step back, shy away and lock herself up in a room. So by programming ourselves we dictate what kind of life we live.

You have to realize that it is not what is in your story. Instead of having your story post around for everyone to remember, you have to have the spirit to show people “I am an important person and I should be treated accordingly!”

Instead of your story dictating your life without your consent, you should dictate your story.

Self-improvement may not be everybody’s favorite word, but if we look at things in a different point of view, we might have greater chances of enjoying the whole process instead of counting the days until we are fully improved. Three sessions in a week at the gym would result to a healthier life, reading books instead of looking at TV will shape up a more profound knowledge, going out with friends and peers will help you take a step back from work and unwind. And just when you are enjoying the whole process of unlocking your self-improvement power, you’ll realize that you’re beginning to take things lightly and become happy.

Remember life is a journey, we all end up in the same place; the grave. So enjoy the journey, enjoy the sights, you only get to spend this life once. So spend it well, and keep in mind that you should leave a place better than it was when you arrived.
