Manifestation with Action

We have been talking about the use of manifestation to bring things you desire into your life. Remember the steps, you have a thought, then take an action and then bring that desire into your reality. One of the main steps of the steps of manifesting is action, but what exactly is this action?

Action it is the process of doing something in order to achieve a purpose, the way in which something functions, or the effect it produces. We must take action; do something that gets things moving. So what is it that we must do?

The simplest yet the hardest is; to write it down… The act of writing it down creates what you desire and causes the forces of the universe to begin to move in the direction necessary for your desire to become reality. You begin to create what you desire by writing it down.

Write it until it is right. You may have to write it a few times to get the wording correct. I must give you a horrific warning here: Be very careful what you ask for as you will get it.

Many people will not take this essential action. Why? Because they say it is too silly, “or I will do it later”, or some reason that makes sense to them. Regardless of the reason, they are wrong. Without this first and powerful step nothing will change. Nothing done is nothing earned! Earned means to acquire something as a reward for, or as a result of your actions or behavior. Do nothing and that is what happens.

So go get yourself a piece of paper and write out your desire. Put it somewhere where it can be seen by you all the time. If you do not put it out in the open it will not come into reality any time soon. Post your desire where it can be seen, in plain sight, out in the open. There it will be seen and will become a reality faster than you may think.

Some of you may scoff and say this is bull hooey, so I offer you a piece of evidence. I know this woman who gets quite a lot done just by writing it down. One example: She gets her yard mowed with no other action than just writing it down. She takes no actual or physical action, she simple writes it down and it happens.

This person is my wife. She writes “Mow the lawn” on the honey do list, and pins it to the fridge. Then I bumble along and see this note and go get out the mower and cut the grass.

Did this woman care how or when it happened? No, the simple act of writing it down caused her desire to come into reality.

So write it down, post it where you can see it and it can be seen. Do not worry about how or when; simply trust that it will come to pass. Then it will soon come into your reality, and you can begin the “live happily ever after” part of your life.

Be Blessed

Wisdom of Manifesting

There is still a lot of talk and buzz about this new manifesting concept. The new gurus tell you that it is the Law of Attraction that causes you to have what you have. This is true but, there is a bit more to it than what you think.

One of the keys that they leave out is a very important key; taking action.

What they don’t tell you, and what you haven't learned, is everything that you have now, is because at some point in the past you decided to get it, and you decided to take action to achieve it.

You may not have realized you were using the Law of Attraction, but you did. You thought of something, took action on it and it came into your reality.

If you decide you want a thing then you have to define what that thing is. You can decide to win the Olympics, but what sport? When you have defined that then you must learn the skills for that sport, and compete. The gold medal will not just fall into your lap while sitting on your couch. Here is the shocker; you will have to earn it.

You can be whoever you desire. You can have whatever you desire. You can do whatever your heart desire that you do. Don't be shy in making a request from the universe. Don't think you can't ask for more if you have so many blessings already. You can be and achieve all that you desire.

So what makes you think that anything you want in the future is going to happen for you any differently? There is an old saying that is a secret key that has been hidden in plain sight, “If you keep doing what you have always done, you will keep getting what you already have”.

Here's the most important key to your success:

Those who take action; succeed.

Those who do not take action; do not succeed.

Once again, the steps are to think of a desire, take an action, and bring your desire to reality. Your desire can be anything; if you can think it, then it can be done.

Don't be afraid to receive what you desire. You have asked for it and it was granted to you, now accept what you have created. Acceptance is being prepared for all the attachments and responsibilities that go with what you asked for.

Lastly, I must give you a serious warning: Be very careful what you ask for; as you will get it. What you get will be what you asked for, but not what you desired. So make sure you know what your desire is before asking for it.

Be Blessed.

A Gift For You

I have been a bit preoccupied this week, so to makeit up to you here is a special gift.

There is a lot of stuff going about on the subject of manifesting and how to manifest. So today I am giving you a gift that will simply blow your mind.

Now, stop reading and go get yourself a piece of paper and a pen. It can be a sticky note, a scrap piece, a piece of printer paper or even college rule loose leaf, it doesn’t matter, just get a piece of paper. No cheating, don’t read the rest of the article, go get it, I will wait right here.

...

Got it? Good. Now on this piece of paper write these words: “I Love Myself.”
It may feel silly to think about it, but just do it; write the words “I Love Myself” on that piece of paper…

Did you do it? Great, now read your own writing, “I Love Myself”. OOOHHH, did you feel that? I bet that felt good. Do it again, read your own writing… “I Love Myself”. That feels good doesn’t it? So write it again next to the first line;
“I Love Myself” and right next to it “I Love Myself” in a single line.

Now again, read your own writing; “I Love Myself, I Love Myself”. Now THAT feels real good, doesn’t it? I bet you are feeling really good right now, but we are not done yet. Under the first two write again; “I Love Myself”, so it looks like this:

“I love Myself, I Love Myself”
I Love Myself

So now pick up the piece of paper and hold it in front of you so it blocks the view of this computer screen and read your own writing. Go on, I will be right here when you are done.

OH, that has to feel soooo good! Now read your own writing out loud, this is the test, do you whisper, yell, or use your indoor voice? Yes it matters; I highly recommend you use your outdoor voice. Now, do it, read your own writing out loud. Come on, don’t feel silly, read your writing out loud.

...

...

Now THAT felt good, so good I bet you read it more than once. That is very good; give yourself a hug from me, which is just excellent.

Now that you are feeling really great let us examine what you just did.

So what did we just do? We manifested… You had an idea, you took action and your idea became a reality.

Enjoy the rest of your day

Be Blessed

How You Can Get Anything You Want in Life

Let's keep this simple: What do you want?

Ask yourself these questions; what exactly is it? Narrow it down to a specific thing. Then ask yourself: Why? Do you want this for the greater good, or for less noble reasons? Then ask yourself; for what reason must you have this?

Whatever the reason, it is probably so that you can feel good, so you can feel free, or experience satisfaction of some kind. It is to enjoy your self one way or the other. To sum it all up in one word: Happiness.

If you are not feeling happy then you want something. You want this thing so you can be happy. When you are unhappy you are not comfortable, and this discomfort brings about a desire for a solution. This solution to be happy often times involves having something. Therein lies the dilemma; if you get it will you stay happy? You need to examine yourself and make sure that this thing you want will make and keep you happy. The old fairy tale ending of happily ever after can be realized if you do this correctly. Do it wrong and instead of happiness you will get serious repercussions.

So how do you get whatever it is that you want in your life? Here is the formula for all creation of your reality. Keep it simple and uncomplicated. If you complicate it, it gets complicated to that degree. If you keep it as simple as it is, it becomes a miracle, profoundly powerful, a sign of mastery.

Ask and receive…

You probably just fell out of your chair at the simplicity of this. If not read that little sentence again.

So you now wonder; who do you ask? Your higher power is yours to determine. No other person in this universe can even begin to tell you who your god is or isn’t. Your relationship is yours, and yours alone, you can not share this relationship, it is your gift to use or neglect as you see fit.

So now the big question; “How do you ask?”

The asking is simple state your desire and how you feel about it. Say it out loud, write it down, you must simply bring it outside of yourself…

A warning is in order here: Be very careful what you ask for, as you will receive it! What you get may not be what you wanted after all, so think it through.
Also, forget about what you don't want. Here is why: whatever you are putting your attention on is what is being asked for. Where your attention is indicates what it is you are asking. How it is that you are feeling indicates what it is that you are asking.

How does your higher power know what you want? From what you think and talk about the most. So what you expend your energy into talking and thinking about is what you will get.

An example is in order; if you desire a new car, but only think and worry, and talk about the old beater that you have, then the higher power will grant your requests for an old beater. You will get a different (thus new) beater.

So to sum up; ask and receive. Bring the desire outside of you and let your higher power know. Ask only for what you really desire, and make sure it is for happiness and joy.

Be Blessed

7 Ways to Become a Positive Thinker

Thoughts are things, and what you think about becomes your reality. So, look at yourself right now. Evaluate what you have and what you want. Is your life good? If so stop here and go read something else. Is your life not exactly what you dreamt about when you were younger? Then here are seven ways to change your life for the better

Take passionate action towards living your life by design.
Talk is cheap: Action equals deposits in the bank of an authentic future. Without it, passion is void. If you talk about how you could be the Mayor, and do a better job to boot, then go out and seek election. Doing nothing gets you just that; nothing. I'm sure you have a bright idea hidden somewhere in the back of your mind that you just can't wait to test out. Of course you're not the only one with the bright idea. This is a perfect example where dreams are made of; where you start by tinkering with your mind, then with your hands. If you are successful it will have been easy and fun work, but if the idea weakens, you can always go back to it later until you finish it.

Commit to yourself as well as those you love to create powerfully a life you can love.
Instead of reacting, commit to creating from your heart and soul, out of love rather than fear. The American Dream will always be there, but a dream will still be a dream without motion. Be amazed as the transformation begins. It's always best to set up a personal goal where you can accomplish the most in record time

Recognize and embrace the thought that each moment is perfect regardless of its outcome.
Every time you hit on something that may appear too extreme, why not give it a shot and see if it will work. You will be surprised to see of there are other ways to get the task done in time. If you are not pleased with the outcome, decide to use that moment to learn from and make the appropriate shift. A correct and positive attitude in whatever you do will make things easier, and even enjoyable.

Dwell completely in a place of gratitude.
Learn to utilize what you have in your hands and make use of it in the most constructive way. Slipping into neediness will become less of a habit when you repeatedly shift towards gratitude, away from poverty consciousness. Being grateful for the good things you have will bring more good things. Try to minimize the bad and maximize the good.

Use a Passion Formula of Recognize/Reevaluate/Restore in place of Shoulda/Woulda/Coulda.
The former is based in increased knowledge and abundance while the latter focuses on scarcity and lack. As you face people or tasks that may seem harder than scaling a mountain, allow yourself to realize that the task is just as important as any other task. Do not dwell on the past, instead learn the lesson you were taught and move on. Recognize what you have been given, and what you learned. Reevaluate if it was bad or good and either seek more or ovoid if needed. Restore yourself to the present moment and get on with your life. If you are richly passionate, you will be passionately rich.

Keep humor at the forefront of thought, laughing at and with yourself when possible.
You may find yourself quite entertaining when you loosen up. Life has too much to offer to allow you to mope around in self pity. Having a bit of positive thinking can help you realize things that are never thought possible. Humor is very attractive; you can be serious and humorous at the same time. A great person can see many different sides of a situation at the same time. Deal with the situation as you have to, but remember the universe has a sense of humor.

Believe that you are the architect of your destiny.
No one can take your future from you except for you! Create your life authentically. As long as there's still breath in your body, there is no end to how much you can accomplish in a lifetime. The concept of thinking big is all about enjoying your work, which would lead to celebrate a discovery that is born within your hands. Watch everything flow into place with perfect, passionate precision. So instead of subjecting yourself to what you will be doomed for, make your path by taking the first step with a positive attitude.

So what motivates you? Think positive, take action and become prosperous.

How To use Life Mapping

What is Life Mapping? A short guide to help you get what you want...

Who are you? What do you want to be? Where do you want to go? When do you want to be there? Why do you desire to go there and do that?

These are the questions of life that we all ask ourselves. Things that we want to do, to be, to see, to acquire. To do these things we must know what we want from our life, what we desire to accomplish, what we will be when we grow up. (Even if your 50, you still want to be something, don't you?)

To get from one place to another you need a map, especially if you have never been there before. A map helps you see the big picture and tells you how your journey is progressing. You know where you are and where you want to go. The map also gives you information like routes, rest areas, cities or towns, and may tell you about the best way to get to where you are going.

To get to where you want to be in life you need a map. Having a map will help you become successful. Success is more than just economic gains, titles, and degrees. Success is who you become. Planning for success is easy; you simply map out all the aspects of your life.

To make your life map you need to define the following details: origin, destination, vehicle, backpack, landmarks, and route. Let's get started:
Origin: Who are you? You must have a starting point. Your origin is who you are right now.

Most people when asked to introduce themselves would say, "Hi, I'm so and so and I am a few-years old, senior high school student."

This does not tell you about who she is; it only tells you her present preoccupation. To gain insights about yourself, you need to look closely at your beliefs, values, and principles aside from your economic, professional, cultural, and civil status. Moreover, you can also reflect on your experiences to give you insights on your good and not-so-good traits, skills, knowledge, strengths, and weaknesses.

Upon introspection, our fictitious female realized that she was highly motivated, generous, service-oriented, but impatient. Her inclination was in the biological-medical field. Furthermore, she believed that life must serve a purpose and that animals deserve respect and have rights.

Destination: A vision of who you want to be. "Who do want to be?" this is your vision. Now it is important that you know yourself so that you have a clear idea of who you want to be; and the things you want to change whether they are attitudes, habits, or points of view. If you hardly know yourself, then your vision and targets for the future would also be unclear. Your destination should cover all the aspects of your being: the physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual.

Continuing the example story, our fictitious female learned after she defined her beliefs, values, and principles in life, that she wanted to have a life dedicated to serving animals and their habitats.

Vehicle: A vehicle is the means by which you can reach your destination. This one is a critical step so pay attention. Your vehicle is Your Mission. . . It can be analogized that your mission is not just your vocation in life, but what you will do with those skills. To a great extent, your mission would depend on what you know about yourself.

Continuing the example story, our fictitious female decided that she was suited to become a doctor, and that she wanted to become one. Her chosen vocation was a veterinary doctor. Describing her vision-mission fully: it was to live a life dedicated to serving her fellow creatures as a veterinarian in areas that normally do not have such services.

Travel Bag: Your knowledge, skills, and attitude. When you pack a travel bag you include things like food, drinks, medicines, and other travelling necessities. Applying this same concept to your life map, you know to bring with you certain knowledge, skills, and attitudes. These determine your competence and help you in attaining your vision. So therefore you simply assess what knowledge, skills, and attitudes you have at present, and what you need to gain along the way. Then set goals to learn those skills and acquire the knowledge. This two part assessment will give you insights on your landmarks or measures of success. You will know you are progressing as you reach individual goals.

Continuing the example story; our fictitious female realized that she needed to gain professional knowledge and skills in veterinary science so that she could become a doctor. She also knew that she was a bit impatient with people so she realized that this was something else she wanted to change.

Landmarks and Route: S.M.A.R.T. objectives. Landmarks confirm if you are on the right track while the route determines the difficulty and travel time. So you therefore, also need to have landmarks and a route in planning out your life. These landmarks are your measures of success.

To help you determine these landmarks use the S. M.A.R.T. Plan: First these measures must be Specific; they must be Measurable; they must be Attainable; they must be realistic; and lastly able to be accomplished in a certain amount of Time. Thus you cannot set two major landmarks such as earning a master's degree and a doctorate degree within a period of three years, since the minimum number of years to complete a master's degree is two years.

Continuing the example story; Our fictitious female identified the following landmarks in her life map: completing a bachelor's degree in biology by the age of 21; completing medical degree by the age of 23; finishing her residency in a large city by 25; start her own traveling practice by 28; have a well funded response agency that can save animals anywhere in the world on 24 hour notice by the age of 35.

Anticipate Turns, Detours, and Potholes: The purpose of your life map is to help you determine when and where to go and what to do. To help you minimize hasty and spur-of-the-moment decisions that can make you lose your way. You have to realize that oftentimes our plans are modified along the way due to some inconveniences, delays, and other situations beyond our control. Like in any path, there are turns, detours, and potholes; we must anticipate them and adjust accordingly. By having a map you keep going in the direction you have started but it may take a little while longer.

Continuing the example story; our fictitious female did not have a scholarship and so had to work her way through college, so she did not attain her degree until age 23 and her doctor degree by 25. She still continued with her plan because she had a life map.

So now it is up to you. What do you desire from life? Evaluate where you are and where you want to be and when you want to be there. It is not too late, start now!

Be Blessed.

Be Happy Whenever You Want to Be

We all desire to be happy and at peace. Too often we believe that if some event happens, then we’ll be happy or at peace. We base our future happiness on things and conditions. For example we say to ourselves “I will be happy when the kids move out” or I will be happy when I win the lottery” and other similar conditions. The problem is that as soon as you gain what you seek, you soon become disappointed, disillusioned and dissatisfied again. You probably won’t even know why. It’s because you have attached conditions to your happiness and peace.

Thoughts are things, and your thoughts cause your actions that in turn result in what you are. No one and nothing can make you happy or at peace. You do not receive happiness and peacefulness from someone or something else.

Happiness and peace come from inside. You are responsible for yourself. You must make the blatant choice to be happy. You either are, or you’re not. You decide to be happy, and you decide to be at peace.

There are situations that arise from time to time that will test our resolve to be happy. Cars won’t run, children misbehave, co-workers don’t do their jobs, and so on. If you have made the choice to be happy you do not have to react with anger or other non-happy emotions to outside situations. You are in control of yourself, so you decide on how you feel.

There was a game I played with my kids when they were younger, we called each other names. The rules were simple you could not repeat a name that anyone else had said. So I would start out and say “Well, you’re a fence”, and then my son would reply “Oh yea, you are a window”, and my daughter would go “Oh yea, you are a cheeseburger” and so on. We called each other everything from ants to zebras and anchovie to zesty pepperoni. Nobody got their feelings hurt because we knew we were not really a sidewalk, or a French fry.

This training came in handy later in life. When my kids got to middle school it seems that other kids just get mean at that age. So they tried to call my kids names. They would come home from school and be all dejected and feeling sad. We would talk, and I would remind them that name calling is just a game, that the words can not hurt them unless they allowed it. I would point out that their feelings didn’t get hurt when we called each other a pickle or olive. Then I would ask them why. Of course they couldn’t figure it out so I had to tell them that because they knew it wasn’t true, so it had no effect. So what is the difference between being called a coffee pot and being called a dork? Nothing, if it isn’t true it can not hurt you. So my kids learned to not let name calling bother them, that it is yourself that decides how to react to outside influence.

So it is for you; you are the one who decides what you will do when faced with any given situation. Other people or things can not make you happy. Conversely they can not make you sad either. It is the choice you make as to how you react to it. You decide if it hurts your feelings, or it has no effect on your emotions at all... You can choose to be happy, you can choose to be at peace.

Once you determine that you are happy and at peace, you act in happiness and peace. When a negative situation presents itself, just remind yourself that you are happy and at peace. Allow yourself a moment to mentally step back from the situation and find a positive reaction.

3 Steps to Overcome Your Fear Success

The foundation and point of origin of success is when one decides exactly what he/she really and truly wants, in all aspects of their life. When a person discovers their life’s purpose, and begins to act on it; the world becomes a different place.

Everyone has that earnest desire to succeed. Your ability to establish and accomplish goals will mold your happiness and success over and above any other skill you can ever think of. In other words; you can not hit the target when you can not see it.

Just wishing for something is so much different from being able and prepared to accept it. Nobody is ever prepared to accept anything until they truly believe that they can obtain it. The mind must first be in a state of believing, and not just hoping or wishing for something. An open mind is important, as a closed mind never inspires courage, faith or the power to believe.

If every individual has that yearning for success, and if success is equally possible to everybody, why then is it, that only a few succeed? It is because only a few believe in their potential. Of those individuals, they started by defining and acknowledging a goal. By writing it down and truly believing in their spirit and minds that they could achieve that goal.

Almost everyone has gone through difficult life encounters and experiences. These experiences and encounters usually define one’s existence, becoming important milestones on your life's course. However, the enemy, (which is that negative force within) often would recognize these difficult experiences as evidence that your not “good enough” in order to succeed. Simply put, this is fear from within.

As the mind dictates your fear, it also dictates your thoughts and your actions: Fear, according to psychologists is normal and a natural line of attack focused to life's adjustments and changes. Fear is what prevents one from doing “crazy or stupid things”; but it may be carried to a great extent. When one fears nothing, one can be considered as “mad” and “foolish” but on the other hand, fear of almost everything, especially fear to take simple actions, causes people to be considered as plain cowards. The enemy inside of you will tell you that your fear is reasonable when in fact it is only transitory.

For example; when you believe in your mind that relationships are complicated and demand too much effort, you will indeed attract those individuals who will cause difficulty in the relationship and or demand a lot of effort from you. More significantly, when you worry regarding something that you essentially believe will have negative outcomes, then that is what the result to your actions will be.

Of course, it does not occur every time that you think and believe negatively. Although there is worry and apprehension inside you, there is still, in that little corner of your heart, of your mind: Hope. With this small spark of hope, you hope for a positive result, and that power prevents disaster from happening. Yet worrying constantly, without any hope, then disaster is sure to come!

However there is so much more to faith and believing than simply creating beliefs. Possessing “optimism” in the mind is the initial step towards making a positive outlook, resulting in a successful life.

Take note here: Believing, is something entirely different than optimism. For instance you have “positive thoughts” with regards to money; at the same time, you are optimistic that many ways are offered in order to acquire money. Yet if, for any reason you do not believe you will be able to make money, then you will not make the amount of money that you desire.

So how do you get through the fear? By developing how you believe!

Step 1. Identify your fear, and then create a correct belief. Your belief should be superior to your fear. It will entail a bit of effort. Observe and listen inside of you, look around and see what is functioning well in your life. Small or great, proclaim your successes. Realize that you have created a success. Talk about things that went well, and about plans for things to come. Believe that you can reach great things, and right now; begin counting your blessings.

Step 2. Only believe in you, in the things that you can do, and not in the circumstances. You have to believe in only yourself. There will be times when you will be tempted to put your belief into something else. Help is good but do not become dependant on them. Please note that people and circumstances change; if you put your hope in someone else they may suddenly leave, then where will you be? Your success can be created by only you, and you alone know the definition of success, and only you decide whether to change it or not.

Step 3. Realize that success will take some time. It has taken a long time to get your life the way it is now, so it will take some more time to get your life where you want it. Write down your goals; fill a whole book if you can. Read your goals every day. Keep this in mind; if ever you do fail, think of it not as failure but as a lesson on how not to do it. Then find another way to get things done. Failure is not final; take it as an opportunity to learn and reassess your beliefs and your goals.

The power of belief is strong and affects our decisions, feelings, and actions. Although you have been depending on a specific set of beliefs regarding your life up to this point, those particular beliefs can be adjusted or changed.

Seek the truth, your truth, for that is the path of freedom. You can change your future, so start changing it now!

Self Realization

Sometimes, when all our doubts, fears and insecurities wrap ourselves up, we always come up with the idea of “I wish I was somebody else.” More often than not, we think and believe that someone or rather, most people are better than us. When in reality, the fact is, most people are more scared than we are.

Another element of thinking and having an open mind is our programming. Socialization is our learning environment from the time of our birth to this moment. It includes our culture, friends, and the people we have met along the way, family, authority figures, and so on; virtually every person, place or thing we have encountered within our lifetime! It causes prejudices, dislikes, and believing certain things are “right” and others are “wrong”. It leaves various choices unexplored, many opportunities adrift and multitudinous pathways labeled as “wrong”.

Some of this programming is necessary to keep us safe, healthy and worldly-wise. However, a crowd of it clogs our thinking and suppresses aptitude. It’s this part that causes a closed mind, holding you back and keeping you attached to the past. Once you can let go of this programming, doors of possibility and success open to you.

Isn’t it funny? We look at other people, envy them for looking so outrageously perfect and wish we could trade places with them, while they look at us and thinks of the same thing. We are insecure of other people who themselves are insecure of us. We suffer from low self-esteem, lack of self-confidence and lose hope in self improvement because we are enveloped in quiet desperation.

Programming causes attachments to the past, essentially causing us to cherish the programming that was done to us in the past. These attachments engender negative thoughts, limiting self - speech, limiting actions and responses, and the exigency to “be right”. None of these traits are conducive to being open or to achieve your goals.

One key to self improvement is to LISTEN and TALK to a trusted friend. Find someone who you find comfort in opening up with even the most gentle topics you want to discuss. Ask questions like “do you think I am ill-mannered?”, or “Do I always sound so argumentative?”, “Do I talk too loud?” and so on. In this way, the other person will obviously know that you are interested in the process of self improvement. Open up your mind and heart as well. And in return, you may want to help your friend with constructive criticism that will also help her or him improve their self. Do not be vindictive, if something is mentioned that hurts, do not retaliate or try to defend yourself. Write it down so you can work on it later when it does not sting so much.

A lot of this mental programming is easy to recognize. Each has a recorded tape that runs in your mind. Have you ever heard yourself sounding like your mother or dad? Say a word your grandmother always said? Cause something, now someone else always did it that way? Feel a particular way about someone or something, seeing that’s the correct way to feel? Become repulsed by something, because you’ve always felt that way? These are undocked programming tapes. You duty is to begin recognizing them and eliminating them from your mind.

Self fulfilling prophecies, usually from your head programming, causes the fear and panic whenever you try something new or risk something. They pull you; they transfer you back to your comfort zone. They keep your expectations owing to yourself, others and events, including limiting your capabilities, talent, future and opportunities. They direct you from listening to concepts that just could reveal your passageway to success. Your parents would never have considered same trick, and you’re not about to either!

Stop thinking of yourselves as second-rate beings. Forget the repetitive thought of “If only I was richer… if only I was thinner” and so on. Accepting your true self is the first step to self improvement. We need to stop comparing ourselves to others only to find out at the end that we’ve got more reasons to envy them.

Why do we have to always be right? This is another symptom of our programming, most likely from a very influential person, when we were young. Whether you affirm it or not, you have to exemplify honorable! You have to believe what you were told was true, no matter what… The programming is and so strong that it’s a basic reflex. You’ll argue your butt end off until you’re either forced to quit or run out of time. Ever have a time when you wondered why you argued about the topic at all? It wasn’t even important to you afterward, or you could actually see the other person’s point? This is a result of your programming; and unfortunately, doesn’t make you any new friends.

I remember my first grand epiphany, when I found out there was more than one religion, that there were a lot of people who did not believe the same stuff I was taught. It created a thirst, a hunger for more knowledge. Luckily I was able to overcome my religious training and was able to seek the truth with a mind set on learning rather than proving what I had been told was true.

To have an open mind and complete your goals, you must release this need to be right, the limiting self - usage, the programming, and the negative thoughts. You may determine to perform a goal, but failure to recognize all of this negative programming will keep you from believing it, and therefore from achieving it.

We all have our insecurities. Nobody is perfect. We always wish we had better things, better features, better body parts, etc. But life needs not to be perfect for people to be happy about themselves. Self improvement and loving yourself is not a matter of shouting to the whole world that you are perfect and you are the best. It’s the virtue of acceptance and contentment. When we begin to improve ourselves, we then begin to feel contented and happy.

Manifesting You

We are forming habits every moment of our lives. Some habits are desirable, some are undesirable. Some, though not so bad in themselves, are exceedingly bad in their cumulative effects; and cause us loss, pain and anguish. While their opposites would, on the contrary, bring as much peace and joy, as well as a continually increasing power. Do we have it within our power to determine what types of habits take form in our lives? In other words, is habit-forming, or character-building, a matter of chance, or do we have control?

The answer is YES! We have control; of our thoughts, of our action and of our reactions… "I will be what I will to be," can and should be said by everybody.

After this has been said, and not just said, but realized, something still remains. Something remains to be said about the law of habit-forming/character-building; for there is a simple, natural, and thoroughly scientific method that we all should know. A method that if we use it; old, undesirable, earth-binding habits can be broken and new, desirable, heaven lifting habits can be acquired. A method that when used, your life can be changed. Provided one is sincere to know, and by knowing it, to use this law.

Thought is the force underlying all things. So what does this mean? Simply this: Your every act - every conscious act - is preceded by a thought. Your dominating thoughts determine your dominating actions. In the realm of your own mind you have absolute control. If at any time you do not, then there is a method by which you can gain control, and in the realm of your mind become the master.

In order to get to the foundation of this concept, let us look at this statement for a moment: If thought is always parent to our acts, habits, character, and life, then it is necessary that we know how to control our thoughts.

To make an example to help understand this concept, let’s refer to that law of the mind which is the same as the law with the reflex system of the body. This law simply says that whenever one does a certain thing in a certain way it is easier to do the same thing in the same way the next time, and still easier the next, and the next, until, in time, almost no effort is required. Think of a habit you have that you perform every day almost effortlessly. Do you make coffee every morning in the same way? What routine do you follow in the morning? When you first started so many years ago there was effort required to get a certain task done. Then every day you completed that task again and again, day after day. Now it is a habit and you probably do not remember when there was a time that you did not do it. Do you remember the first time you made coffee in the morning?

The mind carries with it the power that perpetuates its own type of thought, the same as the body carries with it through the reflex system the power which perpetuates and makes continually easier its own particular acts. So a simple effort is required to control your thoughts, a start, a get to it, an actual exertion of will, a little effort.

If at first failure is the result, or even if for a time failure seems to be about the only result, keep trying. It will in time, sooner or later, bring you to the point of easy, full, and complete control. When you learned a skill were you an overnight success? Probably not, you had to learn step a, then step b and so on until you could accomplish the task for the first time. Then the second time became a little faster, a little easier. Then one day you found yourself having people come to you to be taught. The first time you rode a bike or roller skated, was it a work of beauty? Do you think Olympic athletes just woke up this morning and decided to go win a medal as it sounds like something to do today? No it took that fear causing word that so many people hate; practice.

With practice, and more practice, each of us can grow the power of determining, controlling our thought. The power of determining what types of thought you will have and what thought you will not. Never forget this one fact; that every earnest effort along any line makes the end aimed at just a little easier for each succeeding effort. Once you start, the next time is easier, even if, as has been said, apparent failure is the result of your first efforts. This is a case where even failure is success, for the failure is not in the effort, and every earnest effort adds an increment of power that will eventually accomplish the end aimed at.

You can, with a sincere effort and practice, gain full and complete power of determining what type of thoughts you entertain, and in doing so you can become the person you know you should be.

Self Improvement and Success

Everything that happens to us happens for a purpose. One thing always leads to another. Instead of crying over past heartaches and failures, treat them as your teachers, and they will become your tools in both self improvement and success.

I remember watching Patch Adams – its my favorite movie, actually. Its one great film that will help you improve yourself. Hunter “patch” Adams is a medical student who failed to make it through the board exams. After months of suffering in melancholy, depression and suicidal attempts – he decided to seek for medical attention and voluntarily admitted himself in a psychiatric ward. His months of stay in the hospital led him to meeting different kinds of people. Sick people in that matter. He met a catatonic, a mentally retarded, a schizophrenic and so on. Patch found ways of treating his own ailment and finally realized he has to get back on track. He woke up one morning realizing that after all the failure and pains he has gone through, he still wanted to become a doctor. He carried within himself a positive attitude that brought him self improvement and success. He didn’t only improved himself, but also the life of the people around him and the quality of life. Did he succeed? Needless to say, he became the best damn doctor his country has ever known.

So, when does self improvement become synonymous with success? Where do we start? Take these tips and use them to improve yourself to become successful.

First thing; Stop thinking and feeling as if you’re a failure, because what you think is what you get. How can others accept you, if YOU can’t accept YOU?

When you see hunks and models on TV, think more on self improvement, not self pitying. Do you want to look like them? Is that what it will take for you to like yourself? Then start exercising and learning. Self acceptance is not just about having nice slender legs, or great abs. Concentrate on inner beauty.

When people feel so down and low about themselves, help them move up. Don’t go down with them. Talk about plans and how to make your dreams come true. Don’t talk about other people and their supposed faults. They’ll pull you down further and both of you will end up feeling inferior.

The world is a large room for lessons, not mistakes. Don’t feel stupid and doomed forever just because you failed once. There’s always a next time. Make rooms for self improvement, learn that you will always be tested and once you pass that test, the next one will be waiting.

Take things one at a time. Start with small goals and work towards bigger ones a little at a time. Mother nature took a long time to turn beaches from rocks to sand. It will take you a little while to turn around your bad behavior. Self improvement is a one day at a time process.

Self improvement results to inner stability, personality development and dig this …. SUCCESS. It comes from self confidence, self appreciation and self esteem. The more successful you are the more confident you become. The more confident you are the more successful you become.

Set meaningful and achievable goals. Self improvement doesn’t turn you to be the exact replica of somebody else. It can’t, those people are already taken. Self improvement hopes and aims to result in an improved and better YOU.

Little things mean alot to other people. Sometimes, we don’t realize that the little things that we do like a pat on the back, saying “hi” or “hello”, greeting someone “good day” or telling Mr. Smith something like “hey, I love your tie!” are simple things that mean so much to other people. When we’re being appreciative about beautiful things around us and other people, we also become beautiful to them. Give compliments freely, their easy to give and you get so much in return.

When you’re willing to accept change and go through the process of self improvement, it doesn’t mean that everyone else is. The world is a place where people of different values and attitude hang out. Sometimes, even if you think you and your best friend always like to do the same thing together at the same time, she would most likely decline an invitation for self improvement.

You should always remember that there is no such thing as an over night success. Its always a wonderful feeling to hold on to the things that you already have now, realizing that those are just one of the things you once wished for.

A very nice quote says that “When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.” We are all here to learn our lessons. Our parents, school teachers, friends, colleagues, officemates, neighbors, etc. etc. etc. they are our teachers. When we open our doors for self improvement, we increase our chances to head to the road of success.

Remember one thing leads to another. How do you climb a mountain? One step at a time.
